In a recent classification ruling (dated Aug. 15, 2017), the “Fidget Prism” accessory, a specially designed silicone prism for protecting and customizing a “ZURU Fidget Cube” and containing a keychain-like clip, was classified under subheading 9503.00.0073 of the HTSUS, providing for “Tricycles, scooters, pedal cars and similar wheeled toys; dolls’ carriages; dolls, other toys; reduced-scale (‘scale’) models and similar recreational models, working or not; puzzles of all kinds; parts and accessories thereof; ‘Children’s products’ as defined in 15 U.S.C. § 2052: Other: Labeled or determined by importer as intended for use by persons: 3 to 12 years of age.” The current duty rate for that classification is free.
