USITC to Continue Antidumping Investigations on Low Melt Polyester Staple Fiber from Korea and Taiwan

On August 10, 2017, the U.S. International Trade Commission voted affirmatively that there is a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured by imports of low melt polyester staple fiber from Korea and Taiwan allegedly sold in the U.S. at less than fair value. Antidumping duty investigations will continue, with preliminary antidumping duty determinations to be issued around December 4, 2017. The ITC report will be available after September 8.
